in the special section Codina House, Mendoza, Argentina ... A4estudio study.

The house is situated in a flat area of \u200b\u200b1500 square meters in a residential area within the emerging city of Mendoza in Argentina. A typical continental climate zone, with large amplitudes weather between stations where the little breeze comes mostly from the South.
The project is an opportunity for rethink suburban housing facility environments emerging contemporary Latin American urban space. Understanding space as a stimulator, suggesting geometries sensitive to weather conditions and operating from a sustainable awareness.
The house always runs on an intimate central courtyard, opening the main spaces to a large perimeter garden use more public and more humid conditions. The main spaces are arranged facing north in order to obtain a direct heat gain from sunlight, smaller spaces more intimate, are oriented east to an area own, leaving the service to the west. Because the natural movement of air masses, the volume of air in the central courtyard causing temperature rises vacuum and absorbing the environmental benefits of the garden perimeter through the interiors of the house.
